How to Make Vertical Blind Fabric

Dec 02,2022 / Industry News / Author: admin

Generally speaking, a vertical blind fabric is comprised of three basic materials. These are the backing member, the fabric and the operating mechanism. These three materials are fused together to form a fusion multilayer product. The fused laminate is of sufficient thickness to produce a vertical blind. The first fabric layer is bonded to the backing member using a heat process. This creates a rigid fabric that does not curl or sag.

The fabric and the backing member are then sewn together to form a vertical blind. This allows for a wide variety of stitching patterns. This also allows the user to customize the size of the vertical blind.

The vertical blind fabric can be dry cleaned. However, if it is to be kept as a permanent fixture, it is advisable to use a protective solution. This can be a solution of washing powder or foam.

The adhesive like substance used to stop the fabric from fraying can be applied with a brush, a roller, a dispenser, or another applicator. Fray stopping substance 9 is selected so that it does not stiffen the vertical blind. This substance is applied to exposed outwardly facing longitudinal edge portions of both the first and second fabrics. It is then allowed to dry for at least six hours.

The fray stopping substance can be applied to any stitching on the vertical blind. This substance can be applied with a brush, preferably a liquid substance, or with another applicator.
